Born in St. Martinville, LA, Rosemary Fournet Waters was speaking two languages by the age of 6.   Her Acadian French experiences through life helped create the foundation of an extraordinary talent in Cajun French cuisine. 

While raising a family, Rosemary opened her first restaurant in the Evangeline State Park of St. Martin Parish, The Park Lodge Restaurant.  Within months it was one of the most popular restaurants in a four parish area, attracting tourists from all over the continent.  Before retiring, she was asked to inject her Acadian style into another restaurant in Iberia parish. 

Many of the recipes on this web site have been handed down from generations before her and others are a result of Rosemary's own unique talents.  These creative and delicious foods are now recorded for others to enjoy.
